JEL´s power plant projects began with works on Jurong Power
Station 3 x 390 T/Hr boiler back in 1972. Our expertise in
power plants soon spread and JEL engaged our first overseas
project in 1973. This first overseas project was
construction work of 2 x 420 T/Hr Single Drum Non-Reheat
Boiler and Auxillary for Kuwait´s Shoaiba Power Plant.
After gaining
experience in Power Plant Industries, JEL extended out scope
for
Balance of Plant in 1994, our first EPC project Port Dickson Simple Cycle Power Plant
in Malaysia.
JEL is today a
leader in the field for complete civil, mechanical and
electrical erection works for all power plants. The types of
power plants we have constructed include Oil fired,
Coal-fired, Gas-fired, Thermal, Combined Cycle,
Cogeneration, Diesel, Hydro Electric, Nuclear and
Incineration.
From our early
days till now, JEL has completed more than 120 Power
Projects in over 20 countries.
